Iris ink

In my exploration of new mediums, I started extracting ink from irises flowers in my garden. In those monochromatic paintings, I explore the anatomy of the body, the poetry of flowers, and collaborate with the rain. The rain is so omnipresent here in Normandy, it seemed natural for me to create with her.  Using this ink to soothe and calm my mind in a world constantly changing and accelerating. With this technique I reclaim slowness. I explore the intricacies of simplicity.

Currently exhibiting at the Schiste Bleu Gallery, Cherbourg, France.
