In 2022 Rose published The temperamental heart, a book of poetry illustrated with her original artwork.
Capturing her own gentle queer awakening the author, through this work, weaves a poetic lace of intricately descriptive words and sensual imagery.
Each chapter is represented by the 4 chambers of the heart, with an extra chamber the heart chakra.
- the left atrium is represented under the theme of "creation", and touches on themes of inspiration and other artistic concepts.
- the right atrium is called "meeting place", it is about falling in love and new beginnings.
- the left ventricle is called "parting place" and is about endings, loneliness, and heartache.
- the right ventricle is called "melting pot", it is about passion and sexuality.
- the heart chakra is the spiritual heart of the book, it is called "reflection", it is about the ponderings of the mind and soul, the lessons and the learnings.
